Aera is a recurring character in the Filipino fantasy-themed television saga Encantadia produced by GMA Network. She's the only Kambal Diwa in Encantadia (2005-2006 Series).

Aera as she appeared in Encantadia.
Aera was created when Sang'gre Amihan wished her body could be split into two so that she may be able to accomplish two things at the same time. She can be summoned and recalled anytime even without using the Brilyante ng Hangin.
Appearance[]

Being the twin spirit of Amihan, she has the appearance similar to Amihan from hairstyle to outfit. Alena noticed this when she looked at Aera. Mira was also reminded of Amihan through her. The only differences are: she has blue markings on her face, her inner dress, and a cloth is attached to her wings gear. Aera could also appear in spirit form.
Personality[]

Although she is the Kambal Diwa of Sang'gre Amihan, Aera is does not share the same personality with her master in fact, she is the complete opposite of Amihan. She is stubborn and proud. As Danaya had described her, she has an "attitude". She always complains when Amihan orders her. She is careless compared to Amihan, allowing herself to get drunk out of pride and even proudly saying to the Barbaros that she is the Kambal Diwa of Sang'gre Amihan which put her into danger and at some point nearly to death when Asval and Hagorn had captured her. She would've died if Amihan hadn't called her back. Later she changed her attitude and no longer complained when Amihan orders her. She is also capable of grieving and shed a tear knowing Danaya "died".

Being the Kambal Diwa of Sang'gre Amihan, Aera shares some abilities and same area of expertise of hers.
Wind Energy Beam[]
Aera is able to create a wind energy beam to inflict damage or kill an enemy.

Swordsmanship[]
Aera is skilled in using a sword like her master.
Magical tear[]
Aera said her tear is like the tear of Amihan. Aera's tear fell to the soil and revived Danaya.
Encantadia (Book 1)[]
Aera was ordered by Amihan to look for Lira instead, she finds herself at a bar and drinks with the Barbaros. Axilom and Bantok happened to be in the same bar and overhears Aera saying she's the Kambal Diwa of the Reyna ng mga Diwata. They report this to Asval and Hagorn. Hagorn immediately orders that they capture her. Hagorn wounded her using the kabilan which wounded Amihan also. Amihan would summon Aera to help her find someone like Lira when she was imprisoned in Lireo and Danaya who was captured by the enemies.
Etheria (Book 2)[]
Alena was weakened during their battle in the colosseum of Hera Andal due to extreme usage of her sonokinesis power, thus Amihan summoned Aera to aid them in fighting the Etherian warriors which surprised everybody. Aera suggested the Sang'gres to flee since they are no longer binded by the chains to which Danaya disagrees but after seeing for themselves that they are in a huge disadvantage, the Sang'gres flee along with Aera.
Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas (Book 3)[]
Aera did not appear in Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas but made a cameo appearance via flashback in the credits of the final episode.

Trivia[]
- The only time Aera and Amihan were seen wearing identical outfits was when Aera appeared in spirit form because Aera's gears is also the gears of Amihan.
