Cilatus is a fictional character from the Filipino fantasy-themed television saga Encantadia produced by GMA Network. Cilatus is played by Filipino actor Daniel Fernando. Fernando previously played Bartimus from the Book 1 of Encantadia.

Profile

Cilatus is the leader of Hera Volo, he was the one who counseled Avria to seek out Memen and Ornia to protect Avria's name as Queen and to strengthen her reputation as an able queen.

Cilatus has always been a distinguished member of the Etherian congress or council whose loyalty to Avria is tied in blood. Cilatus was married to Lip-aya, the deceased sister of Queen Avria. They bore Hera Juvila, Avria's niece and fearless champion, in their union.

Powers

Cilatus is a powerful Etherian and his position as the leader of Hera Volo proves this.

• Time Manipulation: Cilatus, being an Etherian from Hera Volo is gifted with the ability to manipulate time.
• Agility: Cilatus can enhance the speed of his movements. This ability of his was shown when Juvila was training and wasn't aware of his presence due to being blindfolded, for several times she was going to hit him with her spear but he easily dodged them.

Encantadia (Book 1)

Cilatus did not appear in Encantadia but Daniel Fernando, the actor who portrayed Cilatus portrayed Bartimus in Encantadia.

Etheria (Book 2)

Cilatus made his debut appearance on the meeting with Avria about Memen.

His next appearance was when Juvila was to be selected as the captain of the army of Etheria.

Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas (Book 3)

Cilatus did not appear in Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas but made a cameo appearance via flashback in the credits of the final episode.

Family

His father was Arnante, a leader of Hera Volo, and Vivara, the ashti (aunt) of Barkus. This relationship has tied Hera Volo to Hera Sensa. Cilatus has been granted the power to manipulate time. Cilatus then married Lip-aya, sister of Queen Avria, and bore a child they named Juvila.

Juvila

Juvila, like her father, has an uncanny ability to speed her actions and slow her enemies during battle. As a father, Cilatus has only one wish and that was to marry her daughter to an able Heran (blue blood) to preserve and keep their legacy in Etheria. He was killed during the destruction of Etheria.
