Hamir[1] is a character from the television fantasy series, Encantadia produced by GMA Network. He was the founder and First King of Sapiro.
Profile[]
Hamir was the father of LilaSari. The Bathalumang Haliya loved him dearly and granted his every desire that she even entrusted her weapon, the De-jar to him. However, despite all of the good things the Bathaluman has provided to him, Hamir still betrayed Haliya's trust. The riches that the first Sapiryan acquired from the Bathaluman's home gave him an opportunity to build a huge and grand palace for his true love, Halisha, and their daughter, who would be known to everyone as LilaSari.
Story[]
- Via Haliya's flashback.
One night, Hamir visited Haliya on the Moon. With the bathaluman's consent Hamir gathered enough diamonds and gold from the moon. He lied to her telling her he intends to use it for his relatives unknown to the Bathaluman that it was the last time that she'll see the Sapiryan. The cause of Hamir's disappearance is because he had built a castle (using the precious stones he had taken) for the Diwata he truly loves and their daughter. Haliya decided to descend from the Moon and search for him. Haliya found a newly built elegant castle and there she found Hamir with his wife and their child. This angered Haliya causing her to pour her anger on Hamir's daughter, bestowing her a curse to have a beautiful but deadly face that who ever looks at it even her own parents will perish. Halisha accidentally stared at the child while in panic after being attacked by Haliya for attempting to escape. As Halisha turned into dust, Hamir ran to her only to meet his end also after looking at his daughter turning also into dust.
